HARMONIZING SOUND AND SCIENCE FOR TRANSFORMATION.

Christin Rauter and Leon Jean-Marie, known collectively as The Sound Nutritionist, have spent the past 15 years exploring the profound effects of sound and music on human physiology and psychology. Their work explores the massive impact of frequencies, vibrations, and spatial acoustics on the nervous system, cognitive function, and emotional well-being. By blending principles from neuroscience and holistic healing, they have developed innovative sonic experiences that support relaxation, mental clarity, and personal transformation. Through research, practical application, and collaborations with leading wellness and corporate organizations, they continue to refine their understanding of sound’s potential to enhance both physical and mental health.

Their collaboration merges Christin's background in music and psychology with Leon's extensive experience in music production and composition. Together, they offer a unique blend of science and holistic practices, providing services that encompass bespoke sound solutions, vibrational sound therapy, guest speaking engagements, and workshops. Their work extends beyond therapy and research, including a collaboration with designer Sofia Hagen to create the Hempla Sanctuary. As an extension of this creation, Christin and Leon developed a bespoke sound experience to complement the Hempla seat, enhancing its meditative qualities through carefully curated frequencies and vibrations. This integration of sound and design offers a multi-sensory journey, where the Hempla becomes not just a place to sit, but a sanctuary for inner stillness and transformation.

Once captivating audiences as a concert pianist, Christin seamlessly transitioned her experience in performance and music into sound design. Her degrees in Music and Psychology provied the skills to infuse her sonic creations with a profound understanding of human psychology. Her work reflects a fusion of musical expertise and psychological insight, enhancing the impact of sound in modern contexts, merging neuroscience with ancient wisdom. One of the highest priorities in her work with people is to fully understand individuals, their unique personality and develop their potential. Drawing from her diverse experiences as a performer, educator, coach and producer she helps individuals harness the power of sound to overcome mental barriers and enhance their lives. From her beginnings as a piano student to her current role as a sound nutritionist and coach, Christin is committed to unlocking the transformative potential of sound in the modern world.

Leon Jean-Marie, Curation’s head of composition, has blended his love of quantum physics, neuroscience and music by working as a composer, producer and remixer alongside Christin Rauter at The Sound Nutritionist. After training as a sound engineer, Leon signed to Universal Island Records, to release his debut album ‘Bent out of shape’ The album consisted of notable collaborations such as Mark Ronson, Gorillaz, Bloodshy&Avant ( also known as Mike Snow), to name a few. Ten years later, Leon connected and partnered with Christin and together started exploring and working with sound and spatial perception.

A POWERFUL FUSION OF SCIENCE AND HOLISTIC WISDOM HAS LED TO THE CREATION OF A TRULY UNIQUE SERVICE IN THE WORLD OF MUSIC AND NEUROSCIENCE.
